Tonight is the first night I let Ethan go to bed without his nappy. We have been re-using dry nappies at night over and over until I had to throw them away because they were worn out. I think the longest we re-used was for a week. Still can use one but I thought it was too unhygienic. I mean, I won’t wear the same undies for a week, even if I only wore them at night. Anyway, I could have gotten Ethan without nappies at night earlier but I just had to be REALLY sure. Even before I started potty training he’s been dry at night. It’s very fortunate for us because normally children are potty trained in the daytime before the night, and I hadn’t even start training him that time. So I’m happy to report, first night without nappy was a total success!

ya, we’ve been re-using the diaper/pull up when we go out. one week then we throw away. he was pretty good now (cross fingers) …. yesterday i went out for 1 hr, let him wore underwear. it was find. but i think if i go out more than 1 hr, i should let him wear pull up to be on the save side just in case can’t find toilet.
I still keep one pull-up in my bag for just in case.

WOW WOW!!!! J is still with diaper and very wet also :S
You’re not at home to train him mar. It’s hard because you need to be with him full time for at least a week. Also timing is very important. Just so happened that my timing was very good and he picked it up really quickly and went without diapers during the day time in less than a month. He really surprised me then. Slowly lor, that’s why they have bigger size diapers

Congrats!!!!!!!!
Darrius still have to put on Diapers when he naps and at night… he is just too lazy to wake up to pee!
Thanks! That’s the one thing I can be really proud of him. But Ethan does not wake up and pee in the middle of the night. The last time he pees is before he sleeps at around 8:30pm, then he sleeps the whole night through until he wakes up at 7:00am and pee. Maybe because he does not drink/eat a lot.

Bravo Ethan!!! Good job! Aiyooo..my boys night time still on diapers!
Jo-Ann, I got a bit confuse on your post, I always see the date, it always show u post it on May/April. Hahahha. I thought I’m so back dated!
Thanks Annie! Normally night time is more difficult to toilet train, just so happened that Ethan is the other way round.
Sorry about the dates, hahaha… I haven’t been posting for a while, my last one was in March even that was back-dated. So now I’m trying to fill up all the months that I missed. Whatever the dates shown are the dates that the incident happened and/or the photos were taken. Hopefully I’ll get back on track by September. LOL!

With 1 week dry nappy means he can go without diaper now. Good boy, Ethan!
LOL! Sorry about the misunderstanding but this is supposed to be a backdated post. Take a look at the date. Ethan has been dry since this day, which means about 3 months already. Woo hoo!
