LiL’deviL’s LittLe famiLy

This is our second meeting with Mrs Wallace. They’re back for another month and were leaving in 3 days. We were supposed to meet at Ikea but the rain was pouring outside (which is very rare in summer) so we’ve changed the venue to their home. We were actually able to chat while the children played. That’s the good thing about being in a house. I don’t think we could’ve done the same if we were at Ikea.

We went out for lunch after at a nearby restaurant, Cafe Primo. Ethan fell asleep in the car and I felt so bad to wake him up when we arrived. The restaurant have good lunch deals, like $9.90 for a plate of pasta, and the portion is not small. I could’ve finished it if Ethan helped a little. I didn’t bring his booster seat out that day and it’s just so hard to get him to sit on the high chair. Seriously, I can’t take him out to eat by myself. In the end I just freed him and he tried to go in the kitchen, climbed up to other table’s chair, played with the wet umbrellas, lied on the floor, etc. I could hardly eat let alone chat.

Claudia on the other hand sat quietly on her mother’s lap and ate Even though she doesn’t want to sit on the high chair, she sat QUIETLY and ATE! Will Ethan be like that at Claudia’s age in around 6 months? I HOPE SO!

After lunch we went home separately. It was nice to meet them again. Hope to see you in another 6 months!
