First activity

November 26th, 2007 · 4 Comments

I actually had a few activities on this day but laziness made me went for only one. There was the usual Monday playgroup at 10am. Then we were invited to go for a morning tea to raise fund for the Women’s and Children Hospital, organised by a mum, Sally, whom I met at the prem playgroup, to promote the National Premature Birth Awareness Week, also at 10am. So we could only go for one but we went for none. I wanted to go for the latter but didn’t want to go alone with Ethan because it’s quite far from where we live. Eddie was too busy sleeping!

So the only activity I went for was the Xmas dinner with three other mums from the same prem playgroup. Yup, just us mums, no kids or husbands. This is our second time, I’m not sure if I mentioned the first time we did this, it was before I left Adelaide. Anyway, it’s at the same place, Amarin Thai Restaurant. Oops, didn’t take picture again, sorry! It’s just not my thing to do. This time we had the duck red curry and green curry again with a stir-fry vege. The duck curry is really yummy! There were only three of us for dinner then later another mum, Carla, came to join us for dessert which we had ice creams across the street, double yums! We chatted about almost everything and it’s really fun to have something similar to talk about. Turned out, our kids are quite similar. They all love to watch tv! Actually I think all kids of the same age are similar, in the things they do. It’s just so cute to hear other parents’ stories about their children, just like how we blog hop, but face-to-face. Thanks Narissa, for organising the dinner, can’t wait for the next one.
