LiL’deviL’s LittLe famiLy

Hello, hello! We arrived at Sydney to a rainy day, colder than what I expected. And forgetful me only brought ONE jacket, which needs washing. I can borrow from my friend though.

The plane ride was so-so. Leather wide seat but very little leg room, even for a short person like me. Plus I have two hand luggage to stuff under the seat in front of me. With Ethan on my lap passengers cannot move across to get to their seats (we were given aisle, as I didn’t request for anything). But luckily the young couple sitting next to us were very friendly and played with Ethan a few times. Not long after we took off I napped Ethan. It was a difficult task as there are no room for me to put him in the horizontal sleeping position. I was so sure that he was going to sleep throughout the flight, until I moved to grab the magazine in front of me, uh-oh. We had another hour to go. He was still good until when the plane was going to land and I strapped the seat belt on him, he started to get impatient and move about. Well, we got through that anyway, if not I won’t be writing this.

So collecting our luggage was another problem. I had Ethan on the hip carrier we bought just for the trip. I had to pay $4 for the trolley, and no, I don’t get that money back. I can’t get the huge luggage so we waited for my friend (thank God for him!). We took a taxi back to his place, cost $25, which he paid for because my wallet is in the boot of the car. I tried to pay him back after which of course he refused to take. The taxi didn’t stop us at the entrance because of the one way street. We didn’t have to walk far, just about 10 metres, but the luggage were pretty diffcult to handle. Anyhow we got to his place and rested for a bit and went out for dim sum. Will continue the rest later.
