It has been a while since I wrote about my pregnancy. Got so caught up in the current moment. Now I just want to mention about all the classes I took at the Women’s & Children Hospital when I got pregnant. When I got the information booklet I was so excited to see the different classes offered by the hospital, free of charge. So I decided to sign up for as many as I could, kiasu mar…hahaha…some more so free nothing to do that time (really regret didn’t blog that time).

Pregnancy care: One off class on how to care for yourself during pregnancy. Supposed to attend this class before 26 weeks but I went long after…kekeke…

Back care and healthy exercise: Also a one off class on how to care for your body during pregnancy.

Yoga: Ongoing weekly class. Best class I signed up for. It’s really relaxing and helps to flex the muscles. Started straight after I came back from KL at about 21 weeks and never missed a class! The instructor said that I was a good student…hehehe…

Fitness class: Ongoing weekly class, which I skipped many times because I was still in bed…kekeke…But it is a very friendly class where each of us take turns to talk about our week, after that we just chat. The physiotherapist we had was very nice. We can also continue going for this class for up to 3 months after our delivery. Had quite a strong bonding with the girls it was kinda hard to leave the class.

Water fitness: Ongoing weekly class. I signed up for this on my third trimester because I didn’t have any swimwear that fits. Then I went and bought a pair that was on sale. But I only lasted two classes before my water broke. This is also a very relaxing class cause we float! So not too much tension on our back.

Antenatal labour and parenting series: Four weekly classes. I was lucky to be able to attend the last class before the delivery because I was already admitted. Most of them due earlier than me but I beat them! ahhaha…

Pain and pain relief in labour: One off class. Didn’t even put it to good use.

That’s all. There are other classes too but not related to me, like caesarean birth, multiple birth, having another baby, just for dads (Eddie didn’t really want to attend), and young parents. I just feel so lucky to be able to have Ethan here in Australia.

Free ones? we had to pay loh, everything charge charge already, no more free where we were (coz ppl booked then never attend so they began charging loh). only went for antenatal classes (one day, all lessons squeezed into one session due to low turn out for day time classes) for AU$50. Didnt use any of the tips learned when I went into labour.

Yeah, all FREE! If need to pay I also won’t be attending ler, maybe just one. That’s why I like it here so much. If I’m in Malaysia also sure don’t have this kind of privilledge. Some moreo we didn’t have to pay a cent at all for Ethan’s birth, you also right?
